Manage from conceptualization to implementation of long and short-term communication initiatives for the college's internal and external constituents such as faculty staff, students, CSU administrators, alumni, donors, and industry and government partners. The specialist must be able to manage multiple projects, effectively work with staff, faculty, and students for the completion of tasks and projects, and effectively establish and maintain working relationships within a diverse environment to create an inclusive environment for all employees and students. The coordinator will also collaborate with the Dean's Office, Student Success Center, Institute for Emancipatory Education, and other key personnel to execute in-person and online events that establish the Lurie College of Education as a prominent college in the region and in relation to peer institutions. The Community Engagement Specialist will curate the website, blog, social media, print, video, audio, photo, and graphic design communications that are appropriate for various audiences, such as students, faculty, staff, alumni, external stakeholders, and other Lurie College departments and offices. Reporting to the Dean of the Lurie College of Education and the Director of Resources and Operations, the Community Engagement Specialist will lead and implement the college's strategy for designing and managing communications and events that amplify the college's profile.
